An adventure starring your hero! Create your own character and customize your face, hair, and clothes to look like you or anyone else you can imagine.

Dragon Quest IX continues the traditional Dragon Quest type of turn-based combat, but provides more of a challenge to players than its previous titles. Unlike prior Dragon Quest games, the player will have much more ability and creativity over their character's appearance. While previous games had let players only determine whether to play as a hero or a heroine, Dragon Quest IX allows them to go much further by customizing physical features and facial appearances. Players are able to have a cooperative wireless multiplayer experience using local wireless with up to four players.
